Our Purpose
The
purpose of Cornerstone is to glorify God. To bring glory to God simply
means to live and minister in such a way that God's excellent reputations is
upheld before the unbelieving world.
Our Discipleship Picture
It is our goal to align everything we do so that we
accomplish our mission of leading people to become fully developing followers
of Christ. We have determined that
Biblically the bare minimum standard of becoming like Christ would look
like the (5 G's)...
- Gathering - committed to
consistently gathering with the church body for worship.
- Groups- committed to
being in an authentic relationship group where you can be know, loved, cared
for, encouraged, and strengthened in your journey.
- Growth- committed to
personally growing by engaging in the ancient spiritual disciplines of prayer,
bible study, meditation, fasting, and understanding the ancient beliefs and
virtues.
- Gifts- committed to
identifying and using your gifts and talents to demonstrate God's love to rest
of the Body of Christ and to the world.
- Giving- committed to the
giving away of time, money, and hope so that others may experience God as you
have.

aides to help your faith grow, to let your love be better expressed, and to
give away the hope that you enjoy.
